Macaé has two aerodromes and four approved helipads. The largest airport is Macaé Airport (SBME/MEA), currently under renovation and receiving only rotary-wing aircraft. It has a large infrastructure to serve helicopters, being one of the main airports for offshore flights. Additionally, it offers FBO, fueling and full services for executive aviation.
