We have previously landed at multiple locations in Saquarema, but none of them are currently ICAO-approved and all require permission for landing. The local volleyball training center is the most accessible choice and features a dedicated helipad, situated only 200 meters from the coastline. Maricá Airport (SBMI) and Cabo Frio Airport (SBCB) are approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes away, while Galeão International Airport (SBGL) is around 2 hours away, depending on traffic conditions.

Nestled 100 kilometers from Rio de Janeiro, Saquarema is a picturesque town recognized for its vibrant surfing culture. It boasts the famous beaches of Vila and Itaúna, drawing enthusiasts from all around Brazil. The picturesque Saquarema Lagoon adds to its appeal, making it a perfect spot for stand-up-paddle.
