Popular for scenic flights and short-haul charters, the C207 is a classic single-engine utility aircraft. These rough-and-ready do-anything airplanes can land on short runways, carrying 5-6 passengers and a baggage, totaling 1050 pounds (476 kg). Also known as “Skywagon” - and later marketed as Stationair 7 - the C207 yields true airspeeds near 130 knots at lower altitudes, and 150 knots up high. Developed from the hugely popular Cessna 206, the C207 features a powerful 300hp TIO-520 Continental engine and a fairly large cabin, comparing to other aircraft in its class. Thanks to easily removable seats and large double doors, the aircraft can be easily converted to cargo configuration and accommodate bulky freight and dangerous goods.
