The Hawker 1000A is the largest of the British Aerospace BAe 125 Series, which includes the Hawker 700, 800, 800XP, 850XP and 900. This intercontinental version of the Hawker 800 model features a stretched fuselage and increased flight autonomy, with a maximum reach of 3150 NM (5834 km). Spacious, bright cabin, extra luggage space and powerful engines make the Hawker 1000A the most comfortable and versatile BAe 125 ever built. While many designs allow for six or less windows the 1000A has seven, allowing for more visibility and better illumination inside. The aircraft is typically configured for eight passengers, but can seat as many as 15 passengers. It can accomplish the East Coast to West Coast mission nonstop, as well as flights to Bahamas from São Paulo.
