about Kodiak 100
Considered one of the most advanced short takeoff and landing (STOL) turboprop planes ever built, The Kodiak 100 is a worthy competitor to the popular Caravan Grand series. Whereas the Caravan Grand has by far the largest cabin in its class, the Kodiak boasts a powerful PT6 engine, with an operating weight of just over 3955 lbs (1794 kg). This results in a better take-off performance, greater range and more economical operations. By 2018, 250 Kodiak 100 aircraft were delivered. The Kodiak 100 is capable of carrying 8-10 passengers or lifting more than 1390 lbs (630 kg) of cargo. The integrated Garmin G1000NXi avionics suite includes enhanced maps, dual GPS receivers and integrated VHR & IFR charts. Leather is standard for all seating packages.
