This early version of the popular Squirrel comes equipped with improved Turbomeca Arriel 1B engines. Known for its maneuverability and superior visibility, the AS350B can carry up to five passengers in all forward-facing seat configuration. The popular Écureuil series was originally manufactured by Aérospatiale in France and Helibras in Brazil (HS350B), both later becoming a part of Airbus Group. With more than 910 units built in late 1980s and early 1990s, the Squirrel B variant remains of the most popular single-engine helicopters ever built.Leather seats, air conditioning and a set of headsets provide passengers with a solid level of comfort while allowing for excellent panoramic visibility through its large windows. Adjustable energy-absorbing seats and low-vibration cabin add to its comfort and safety. An external baggage compartment of almost 1m³ (35.3ft³) can hold up to 3 mid-size bags, assuming your average piece of luggage weights less than 45 pounds (20 kg).
