Anyone who took a recent glance at social media has certainly come across news about Rihanna’s demands for the dressing room of her boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s concert, one of the main attractions of Lollapalooza Brasil 2022, which takes place between March 25th and 27th. The artists’ luxury, however, is not restricted to hotels and meals, as most of them prefer to travel using executive aircraft.
The couple, for example, have flown aboard the Gulfstream IV, one of the most popular corporate jets in the company’s long and successful lineup. Its long range allows nonstop flights between the United States and Brazil, and its spacious cabin is divided into three zones, accommodating up to 16 passengers in spaces with seats and tables.
The pop diva, on another occasion, chartered a Boeing 777 for a trip with fans and members of the press, as part of a campaign to launch her album Unapologetic.
Executive Aircraft Used By The Attractions Of Lollapalooza
In addition to A$AP Rocky, several other artists who will play at Lollapalooza 2022 have already been spotted using executive aircraft to get around. Check out some:
Miley Cyrus – Airbus A321 NEO VIP
The American singer and actress opted for the Airbus A321 NEO VIP for this season of Lollapalooza. The jet that is normally used in airlines with a configuration of 200 seats, in its executive version, holds up to 50 passengers, being able to fly from São Paulo to New York nonstop.
Foo Fighters – Boeing 757
Veteran rockers Foo Fighters, led by iconic vocalist Dave Grohl, fly aboard a Boeing 757 VIP, a deluxe version of the Boeing airliner. The aircraft chosen to transport the team to Lollapalooza has a capacity of 62 passengers in a luxurious interior, with queen-size beds, comfortable seats, and meeting areas. The same aircraft was used by the band Guns and Roses between 2016 and 2018 on tours around the world.
Alesso – Cessna Citation XL
One of the main DJs and producers of pop music, the Swedish Alesso often flies aboard a Cessna Citation XL, one of the most commercialized private jets of all time. This aircraft is particularly quiet and accommodates up to six passengers comfortably, in addition to having a sofa that fits two people. Its interior is extremely equipped, with a washbasin, ample lighting, an advanced climate control system in the cabin, and electrical outlets in all seats, among other benefits.
Jack Harlow – Beechcraft King Air B200
The American rapper recently broke out, but he already crosses borders with his show. Harlow often does this aboard a Beechcraft King Air B200, a plane known as “go anywhere, anytime.” Of its seven seats, one is side-facing, two aft-facing, and the rest are together in a club seating configuration – all seats are finished in light leather. One of the highlights of the plane is the availability of complimentary beverages, as well as a quiet cabin and an exceptional safety record.
Machine Gun Kelly – Embraer-145
The controversial American star, famous for mixing rap and rock elements, chose to charter an Embraer EMB-145 to come to Brazil. Embraer’s Brazilian-made airliner is part of the ERJ line that is successful around the world, both for the comfort of the seats, as they have the ability to recline more than those of other regional aircraft, and for its autonomy and capacity, being able to fly carrying up to 50 people on routes such as from Brasília and Montevideo.
Pabllo Vittar – Embraer EMB-821 Carajá
One of the main attractions and artists in Brazil, Pabllo Vittar from Maranhão has already been spotted aboard an Embraer EMB-821, known as Carajá. This twin-engine turboprop produced in Brazil is a refit of the Piper PA-31 Navajo, famous for its higher altitude and cruising speed. It is an affordable and comfortable alternative that accommodates six to eight passengers.
Why Do Artists Prefer To Use Executive Aircraft?
In the music industry, the use of executive aircraft among popular artists is very common due to the need to travel great distances in a short time, or to practically schedule daily trips during touring seasons.
Lollapalooza’s own time in Brazil is very busy, as artists who come to the country usually also perform in the Argentine and Chilean versions of the festival, which this year took place simultaneously in the week before the Brazilian edition.

Flights To The Biggest Music Festival in São Paulo With Special Prices
On the days during and after Lollapalooza Brasil, Flapper will have shared flights at special prices from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo. On Friday, March 25, at 1 pm, and on Sunday, March 27, at 9 pm, flights depart from Jacarepaguá Airport (RRJ; SBJR) to Congonhas Airport (CGH; SBSP) aboard a Pilatus PC -12 for BRL 1,500 per seat. On Monday, March 28, at 11 am, depart Jacarepaguá for Campo de Marte Airport (RTE; SBMT) aboard a King Air B200 for R$1,800 per seat.
The flights will also take the opposite route, from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro. Also for R$ 1,500 a seat, there will be flights aboard a Pilatus PC-12, from Congonhas to Jacarepaguá, on Friday, March 25, at 10 am, and on Sunday, March 27, at 7 pm. On Monday, March 28, at 9 am, the King Air B200 leaves Campo de Marte and goes to Jacarepaguá with the seat being sold for R$ 1,800.
