With quotas starting at USD 550,000 and focusing on the Hawker 400XP, the company wants to democratize access to executive aviation with technology, safety and unprecedented national operations. The announcement was made at the Catarina Aviation Show 2025, in São Paulo.

São Paulo, June 2025 – Flapper, the first on-demand executive aviation platform in Latin America, takes a strategic step by launching its innovative executive jet shared ownership program in Brazil. Inspired by the model already consolidated in the United States, the initiative highlights the Hawker 400XP, a light jet recognized for its operational efficiency and the best cost-benefit ratio in its category. By democratizing access to private aviation, the company intends to expand the use of the fractional model beyond the São Paulo–Rio de Janeiro axis, with the ambitious goal of becoming the national leader in the segment in the next five years.

With quotas starting at USD 550,000 per person, the new program offers simplified access to private aviation, without the high costs and complexities of fully purchasing an aircraft. Each shareholder pays an hourly flight cost of around R$12,000, to cover variable expenses such as fuel and crew, in addition to a fixed monthly cost of R$25 – 35,000, depending on the location of the plane, calculated based on five shareholders per aircraft.

Flapper’s initiative appears in a promising market, still in the development phase in Brazil, with great potential for growth in the coming years. “We combine technology and the shared economy to create a smarter, more accessible and efficient service. Fractional ownership reduces costs and increases operational predictability, without compromising comfort and flexibility, while our proprietary application and systems reinforce transparency and automate the entire management of the customer experience”, says Paul Malicki, CEO of Flapper.

Among the main differences of the program are:

    • Unprecedented commercial capacity on the market, which allows shareholders to make the aircraft available for charter to third parties, significantly reducing operating costs and increasing the use of the asset.
    • Exclusive application for quota holders, which offers a complete digital experience for managing flights, monitoring aircraft availability and real-time operational monitoring.
    • Access to Flapper’s global network, with more than 3,550 certified aircraft worldwide, available on preferential terms.
    • Certified safety, with Flapper being the only company in the Southern Hemisphere with the ARGUS Safety seal, one of the most rigorous audits in global executive aviation.
    • Own hangar, with a maintenance department expected to be launched in 2025, ensuring greater technical autonomy, agility and quality control in fleet operation.

According to data from WingX, the fractional ownership model already leads the number of private jet operations in the United States, with almost 550,000 flights in 2024, a number higher than the total recorded by air taxi companies (403,500). The maturity and fragmentation of the American market inspires Flapper to adapt the “asset light” model of on-demand chartering to the Brazilian reality.

With more than 30 thousand customers served, Flapper takes a new step in its trajectory by launching its quota program, reinforcing its commitment to leading the transformation of executive aviation in Latin America through solutions that combine innovation, convenience and rigorous safety standards.
