France is one of the countries that receives the most tourists in the world. Therefore, it is not surprising that it also stands out when it comes to executive flights. With more than 300 registered private jets, the country is considered one of the largest markets in the segment. In 2022 alone, 84,885 executive aviation flights were carried out in the region. The data reveals not only the great demand for private flights, but also the importance of the sector for the local economy.

Occitania is yet another administrative region, located in southeastern France. The region was created by the French territorial reform in 2014, through the merger of 2 regions: Languedoc-Roussillon and South-Pyrenees. The new region officially came into existence on January 1, 2016, shortly after regional elections in December 2015. The site is the first tourist destination in France to boast 6 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In addition, it is home to some of the world’s leading wineries.
Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur
The French region bordering Italy comprises a Mediterranean coast of rare beauty and mild climate, the Riviera, a plain along the Rhône River (Rhône) and a beautiful mountainous area that encompasses part of the Alps.
The Riviera was one of the first places in the world to become a tourist spot. There are some of the most popular European resorts, such as Cannes, Cap-Ferrat and Antibes. Another coastal city is Nice, with beaches of stunning beauty and delicious to walk around. A few kilometers away, on top of a hill, is St-Paul de Vence, a small medieval town of incomparable charm.
Marseille, the capital of the region, has had an important port since Roman times. On its outskirts is St-Tropez, a coastal village that became a popular beach resort from the 1960s onwards, when Brigitte Bardot began to frequent it.
