We received a request for a leisure flight from Geneva, the second largest Swiss city, to Madrid, the Spanish capital. In less than an hour, the availability of the flight had already been confirmed and all the details had been defined to pass on to the customer.

Challenger 300 was the chosen aircraft
In this order, the passengers were five. As there was also a lot of luggage and the distance between the two cities was average, the aircraft suggestion had to be based on all these variables.
Taking all these details into account, the aircraft chosen was the Bombardier Challenger 300 , one of the best options in the medium-sized jet category. It is a fast, comfortable model capable of embarking and disembarking in places where jets are not usually able to operate, expanding the range of destinations for which it can be used.
The plane has an impressive range of over 5,800 kilometers, reaching a maximum cruising speed of around 870 km/h. Its cabin accommodates up to eight passengers, being equipped with a kitchen and a private bathroom. Other model amenities are: adjustable leather seats, air conditioning system, reading light in the cabin, 230V outlets, structure for on-board service, coffee maker, DVD player, microwave oven and folding tables.
The trip Geneva – Madrid
As instructed by the Fixed-Based Operator (or the FBO, Fixed-Based Operator), passengers arrived at the starting point of the itinerary 45 minutes before departure, which would take place at 4 pm on a sunny Friday in Switzerland.
They departed from Geneva International Airport [GVA; LSGG], located in the city center and connected with the local public transport system. In addition to the main runway for commercial flights, the equipment has a second runway of more than 800 meters dedicated to civil aviation. Its curiosity is that one of its entrances is on the border with Ferney-Voltaire , a commune already in French territory.
From there, the passengers and the three crew members departed for Spain. The flight was successful and lasted approximately 1h45. Disembarkation took place at the executive terminal of Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport [MAD; LEMD], the main equipment of the Spanish capital . Covering over 7,500 acres, this is the second largest airport in Europe after Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport [CDG; LFPG].
